About Me
Having completed my AAT qualification I joined a corporate finance firm in 2014 as an accounts assistant. There I learnt the value of accuracy in accounting and how best to implement practices on different systems. I was mentored on Payroll regulations and Capital and Interest reporting.
In 2018 I accepted an FTC as an Executive Assistant to a CEO in Mayfair. As well as managing the financials for the company, it was in this position I learnt the importance of initiative and forward thinking. I was trusted to implement the office procedures and document formatting for each department process. There was no such thing as an impossible task.
For the last 5 years, I have worked with an MEP firm as an Office Manager. My role consisted of managing the daily accounting functions for the company, being responsible for the payroll of both employees and CIS subcontractors along with VAT & CIS returns and HMRC reporting. As my Directors focus was needed on site and managing projects, it was my responsibility to make sure all back office functions operated smoothly.
My focus now is to establish a reliable bookkeeping service tailored specifically to individual business needs.
